महासु देवता पर फिल्म महासु देवता पर एक महत्वपूर्ण डॉक्युमेंट्री फ़िल्म (वृतचित्र) बनायी गयी है जिसका नाम है "द किंगडम कम्स" (The Kingdom Comes). ये फिल्म देहरादून निवासी मानवशास्त्री श्री लोकेश ओहरी ने 2017 में बनायी थी। महासु देवता के बारे  में अधिक जानने के इच्छुक लोगों को ये शोधपरक फिल्म अवश्य देखनी चाहिए। 29 मार्च, 2020, रविवार The Kingdom Comes is an important documentary film on Mahasu devta made by anthropologist Mr Lokesh Ohri who belongs to Dehradun. कहाँ हैं बंगाण? Where is Bangaan?

बंगाण भारत में उत्तराखंड प्रदेश के उत्तरकाशी ज़िले का एक छोटा सा  भू भाग है जिसमें करीब 45 गाँव आते हैं.  ये भू भाग एक ओर हिमाचल प्रदेश के शिमला जिले को स्पर्श करता है, तो दूसरी ओर उत्तराखंड के ही जौनसार बाबर क्षेत्र को. ये क्षेत्र मोरी तहसील के अंतर्गत आता है. The small area of Bangaan is situated in the district of Uttarkashi in Uttarkhand Pradesh. It touches the border ko Himachal Pradesh on one side and the area of Jaunsar Babar of Uttarakhand on other side. This area falls under the tehsil of Mori.
