स्वच्छता बंगाणी संस्कृति का अभिन्न हिस्सा

बिना पैर धोये नहीं सोते थे. मेज़बान द्वारा, ख़ासतौर से घर की महिला द्वारा, मेहमान के भी पैर धोये जाते थे. मेहमान के पैर धोने की परंपरा तो अब नहीं है, लेकिन पैर धोने की याद ज़रूर दिलायी जाती है.

पानी दूर हो. पानी कम हो. फिर भी हमेशा से ही बिस्तर बहुत साफ़ रखे जाते हैं.

घर की सफाई नियमित रूप से की जाती है.

हर तरह की साफ़ सफाई का ध्यान रखा जाता है.

Cleanliness is an integral part of Bangaani culture.

Nobody used to sleep without washing the  feet. Feet of guests were washed by the host, specially a woman from host family. The tradition of washing the feet of guests is no more but one is reminded to wash his/her feet.

The water was far. Water was scarce. Still the beds are kept very clean always.

Cleaning of house is done on regular basis.

Every care is taken to keep things neat and clean.
